A Desperate Call

It’s not every day you get a call from a dying 5-year-old. But that’s exactly what happened to me, a psychologist working in the occupied West Bank. The kid was trapped in Gaza, and it’s a call that still haunts me.

It’s ridiculous that we’re still talking about this. Gaza’s been a crisis for years, and it’s not getting any better. The mental health of these kids is a disaster waiting to happen, and it’s time someone did something about it.
