CBS Won’t Air It

Stephen Colbert’s not holding back – he’s calling out CBS for refusing to air his interview with U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico. It seems the network’s worried about getting on the FCC’s bad side.

The Reason?

CBS claims it’s all about avoiding an FCC headache, but Colbert’s having none of it. He thinks the network’s just being overly cautious – and it’s costing his show a decent interview.

It’s pretty ridiculous that a major network like CBS is letting fear of the FCC dictate what gets on the air. Colbert’s right to be annoyed – it’s his show, after all.
