Arrested and Released

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, aka Prince Andrew, got himself into a spot of trouble on Thursday. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. British police confirmed the arrest, but it’s not like they had a choice – the whole thing’s been plastered all over the media.

The Fallout

It’s no secret that Prince Andrew’s reputation has taken a beating in recent years. This latest development won’t do him any favors. He’s been released, but don’t expect this to be the last we’ve heard of it. The royal family’s probably got its crisis management team working overtime to contain the damage.

It’s a pretty ridiculous situation, if you ask me. I mean, who gets arrested and released in the same breath? Only a prince, it seems.
