Americans Aren’t Buying It

A new poll says most Americans are opposed to the US getting involved in a war with Iran. It’s not hard to see why – the whole thing sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. The NPR/PBS News/Marist poll found that a majority of people don’t think we should be sticking our noses in Iran’s business.

Felons Get Their Gun Rights Back

In other baffling news, the Department of Justice is quietly giving gun rights back to felons. Because what could possibly go wrong with that? It’s not like we have enough gun violence in this country already. The DOJ’s decision has raised some eyebrows, to say the least.

It’s worth noting that these two stories might seem unrelated, but they both point to a larger issue – the US’s questionable decision-making when it comes to violence and conflict. It’s time for some serious soul-searching, America.
