Trump’s Ultimatum

President Trump’s given Iran 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, or else. He’s threatening to ‘obliterate’ Iran’s power plants if they don’t comply. This comes after Iran launched missiles at two southern Israeli cities, which just happen to be close to the country’s main nuclear research center.

Not Exactly a Surprise

It’s not like we haven’t seen this script before. Iran gets feisty, Trump responds with a mix of bravado and vague threats. Still, it’s hard to ignore the fact that Iran’s been poking the bear, and now they’re facing the consequences.

Let’s be real, it’s unlikely Iran will back down. And if they don’t, it’s anyone’s guess what Trump will actually do. One thing’s for sure, though: it won’t be boring.
