Islanders Can’t Keep It Up

The Islanders came out swinging on Saturday night, playing a solid six minutes. That’s right, six whole minutes. After that, it was all downhill.

A Strong Start Wasted

They had the Predators on their heels, but it didn’t last. The remaining 54 minutes were a mess, with the Islanders looking like they’d rather be anywhere else. It’s not like they didn’t have a chance to turn it around – they just didn’t.

So, what went wrong? It’s simple: they stopped playing. The Islanders won’t win many games if they can’t keep their energy up for more than a few minutes. It’s a shame, too, because they were on a nice three-game winning streak. Now that’s gone, and they’re left to pick up the pieces.
