Bad Bunny Makes History at Grammys
MusicBad Bunny Steals the Show
Bad Bunny’s historic win for Album of the Year with ‘Debí tirar más fotos’ left everyone stunned – including himself. It’s the first time a Spanish-language album has taken home the top prize at the Grammys.
The rest of the night was just as wild, with Cher almost forgetting to announce the winner of Record of the Year, and Justin Bieber taking the stage in what can only be described as a state of near-undress.
High-Energy Performances
Bruno Mars and Rosé kicked off the show with a high-energy performance of ‘APT.’, complete with impressive guitar work and plenty of jumping around. Lady Gaga later took the stage to perform ‘Abracadabra’, bringing her signature weirdness to the table with a feathered costume and some seriously funky dance moves.
Sabrina Carpenter also brought the house down with her performance of ‘Manchild’, which featured an airport-themed set and some seriously sassy choreography.
New Artists Take Center Stage
The Grammys also gave a nod to some of the music industry’s newest talent, with a series of performances from up-and-coming artists like The Marías, Addison Rae, and Olivia Dean.
A Memorable In Memoriam
The night’s In Memoriam segment was anything but somber, with a rocking performance of Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’ in honor of Ozzy Osbourne, complete with flames and plenty of leather.
It was a night that will be remembered for a long time – and not just because of Bad Bunny’s historic win.
