Savannah Guthrie’s Mom Vanishes: ‘We Need Your Prayers’
CrimeSavannah Guthrie’s Desperate Plea
Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mom, Nancy, is missing and authorities suspect she was kidnapped from her Arizona home. Savannah’s taking to social media to ask for prayers, saying ‘we need you’.
The Disappearance
Nancy was last seen on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. at her home near Tucson. Family members had dropped her off, but when they returned, she was gone. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department found a crime scene at her house, and it’s clear she didn’t leave on her own.
Savannah posted on Instagram, ‘We believe in prayer… We believe in goodness. We believe in humanity. Above all, we believe in Him.’ She’s quoting Bible verses and asking people to ‘raise your prayers with us’ for her mom’s safe return.
The Investigation
The sheriff’s department has shut down the search-and-rescue mission, and it’s now a full-blown crime investigation. Nancy has physical ailments that limit her mobility, and she needs medication that could be fatal if not taken within 24 hours. It’s a dire situation, and authorities are working to find her ASAP.
Evidence suggests Nancy was harmed when she was taken, but the extent of her injuries hasn’t been revealed. Let’s hope she’s found safe and sound soon.
