Thousands Lose Power as Winds Howl Through NJ

It’s official: NJ’s power grid can’t handle a strong gust of wind. Thousands are without electricity after winds of up to 60mph tore through the state.

Don’t hold your breath. Crews are working to restore power, but it’s unclear when everyone will be back online. In the meantime, residents are advised to stay safe and avoid any downed power lines.
