Officer’s Split-Second Decision

A man’s lunging at cops with a knife in Buckhead ended with him getting shot and hospitalized. It’s not exactly the most shocking outcome, given the circumstances.

What Happened

The incident went down when the guy, who hasn’t been named, allegedly charged at officers while wielding a knife. It’s worth noting, they won’t say what led up to this point, but it’s safe to say it wasn’t a casual afternoon.
The officers, who also remain anonymous, responded by shooting the suspect. Don’t expect an argument from me – if someone’s coming at you with a knife, you do what you have to do.
The suspect’s condition isn’t life-threatening, thankfully. It’s a weird thing to be thankful for, but here we are.
