Catherine O’Hara: A Comedic Genius Lost

Catherine O’Hara, the ridiculously talented comedic actor, died Friday at her Los Angeles home. She was 71. It’s a sad day for comedy fans everywhere.

A Career to Laugh About

You know her from ‘Schitt’s Creek’, ‘Beetlejuice’, and ‘Home Alone’ – just a few of the many hilarious roles that made her a household name. O’Hara’s comedic skill was unmatched, and it won’t be easy to find someone to fill her shoes. Don’t expect anyone to try, either – she was one of a kind.

O’Hara’s passing comes after a brief illness, and it’s just plain ridiculous that she’s gone. We won’t see another like her anytime soon, and that’s a shame.
