Dame CEO Alexandra Fine is giving her customers a refund for tariffs, and it’s not like she had a choice. ‘If somebody charges you something and it’s unlawful, they should give you your money back,’ she said. It’s not exactly rocket science.

The Right Thing

Fine’s move is a no-brainer. If you’re charged for something that’s not legit, you expect a refund. It’s basic customer service. And yet, it’s surprising how often companies don’t do the right thing.
