The Federal Aviation Administration’s thrown a wrench into El Paso’s air travel, slapping a 10-day flight ban on the city. It’s all due to ‘special security reasons’, whatever that means.

No Explanation Given

The FAA’s not offering any details, which is just great for people trying to make sense of this mess. It’s not like they’re going to tell us what’s really going on, so we’re all just stuck in the dark.

It’s ridiculous that they can’t be more transparent. If it’s a genuine security concern, fine. But don’t insult our intelligence with vague statements. The people of El Paso deserve better than to be left high and dry like this.
