Defense Mode Activated

Republican senators, led by Sen. Lindsey Graham, are circling the wagons around senior White House aide Stephen Miller. It’s a bold move, considering some of their own colleagues are calling for a White House shakeup.

The Reason Behind the Rally

Seems some GOP senators are getting a little nervous about their party’s prospects in the midterms. They’re also mighty unhappy with Miller’s public comments on Greenland and immigration enforcement. But Graham and co. won’t let him twist in the wind.

It’s a ridiculous situation, if you ask me. Miller’s comments were tone-deaf, at best. But hey, that’s what happens when you’re trying to defend the indefensible. Don’t expect this to blow over anytime soon.
