Larry Summers’ Epstein Problem

Larry Summers, the former Treasury Secretary, just resigned from Harvard. It’s not exactly a shock, given his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Documents show Summers was in touch with Epstein right up until the financier’s arrest in 2019.

The Epstein Factor

Summers won’t comment on the specifics, but it’s clear his connection to Epstein was a liability. And let’s be real, it’s ridiculous that it took this long for Harvard to take action. Epstein’s crimes are well-documented, and anyone associated with him should’ve been under scrutiny a long time ago.

It’s about time Harvard decided to distance itself from Summers. Don’t expect this to be the last we hear about Epstein’s connections to the rich and powerful, though.
