Judge Orders Immediate Release

A federal judge just did what’s right, ordering ICE to release a 5-year-old boy who’s been detained in Minneapolis. The kid, Liam Ramos, was taken into custody wearing a Spider-Man backpack and a bright blue hat – because, you know, that’s not a heartbreaking image at all.

A Photo Says It All

The judge included a photo of Liam under his signature on the order, because apparently, that’s what it takes to remind people that we’re talking about a child here. It’s ridiculous that it’s come to this, but hey, at least someone’s trying to do the right thing.
