Ronald Hicks Takes the Reins

Ronald Hicks is set to become New York’s 11th archbishop, and honestly, it’s about time someone replaced Cardinal Timothy Dolan. Pope Leo XIV chose Hicks, a former Illinois bishop, for the job. Hicks’ installation is a done deal, and it won’t come as a shock to anyone who’s been following the Vatican’s moves.

A New Face in Town

Hicks will be installed as the archbishop, and it’s likely he’ll bring some changes to the table. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves – he’s got big shoes to fill, and it’s not like Dolan was a slouch. Hicks’ background as a bishop in Illinois will probably serve him well, but it’s New York City, so he’d better be ready for anything.
