Desperate for a Facelift

OKC’s oldest public housing complex is asking for a whopping $26M grant to fix its many problems. It’s about time, considering the place has been falling apart for years. The grant would cover renovations, repairs, and maybe – just maybe – make the complex a decent place to live.

A Long Overdue Overhaul

The complex has been plagued by issues like broken elevators, leaky roofs, and outdated everything. It’s a miracle no one’s been seriously hurt yet. If the grant comes through, residents might finally get to enjoy some basic amenities like working appliances and functional plumbing. It’s not much to ask, but it’s a start.
