Tony Stewart said he was done with NASCAR. Guess what? He’s back. At Daytona, Stewart made a one-off return to the sport he claimed to be leaving behind. What changed his mind? It’s not like he needed the money or anything.

A Return Driven by Fun

Stewart claims his return was driven by enjoyment, not just opportunity. Because, you know, racing at 200 miles per hour isn’t thrilling enough. It’s not like he’s getting paid to have fun or anything. Stewart balanced his partnership with his perspective, and it seems his perspective was ‘why not?’.

It’s ridiculous, really. Stewart said he’d never return, and now he’s eating his words. Don’t quote him on that, though – he might just change his mind again.
