Donald Trump’s appearance at the annual National Prayer Breakfast was supposed to be a nonpartisan affair, but that’s not how it went down. Seth Meyers nailed it when he said Trump is ‘incapable of being normal.’

What Happened

It’s no secret that Trump doesn’t exactly have a reputation for subtlety or humility. So, it’s not surprising that he managed to turn a normally staid event into a spectacle. And, honestly, it’s getting old.

Trump’s got a bad habit of making everything about him, and this event was no exception. You’d think a prayer breakfast would be a time for reflection and contemplation, but not with Trump around. He won’t let anyone or anything steal the spotlight – not even a higher power.
