Alex Pretti’s killing still hasn’t prompted federal agents to back down in Minnesota. If anything, they’re digging in. Residents aren’t buying the notion that Trump’s ICE is taking a softer approach – and for good reason.

Federal agents are still out in force, and the resistance is just as fierce. It’s a stalemate, with no end in sight. Don’t be fooled by rumors of a ‘softer touch’ – it’s just not happening.

The fact that Trump’s administration is trying to spin this as a kinder, gentler approach is laughable. Residents know better, and they’re not afraid to say so. It’s business as usual, with ICE showing no signs of letting up.
