Stocks Get a Break

It’s been a wild ride for U.S. financial markets – they shed over 1,200 points earlier on Tuesday, but managed to pare those losses after Trump stepped in with a promise to insure ships in the Persian Gulf. Because, you know, that’s exactly what the doctor ordered to calm down the stock market.

So, what changed? Trump’s guarantee apparently did the trick, as markets rebounded from their earlier losses. It’s not like this is a long-term solution or anything, but hey, it’s something. And when it comes to the stock market, sometimes ‘something’ is all you need to keep things from completely falling apart.
