War in the Indian Ocean

A US submarine just sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean. Because, why not? It’s not like things were already chaotic enough. Washington and Israel are ramping up their attack on Iran’s security forces, and Tehran’s response is to vow the destruction of the Middle East’s military and economic infrastructure. Because that’s a totally rational and not-at-all-terrifying plan.

Expansion of the War

As the war expands, it’s getting harder to keep track of who’s fighting who and why. But one thing’s for sure: it won’t end well. The US and Israel are pushing Iran’s buttons, and Iran’s pushing back. It’s a big, messy game of chicken, and we’re all just waiting for someone to blink.

Pete Hegseth announced the sinking of the warship, because of course he did. And now we’re all left wondering what’s next. Will Iran follow through on its threat? Will the US and Israel back down? Don’t hold your breath.
